So, it’s that time of year again – the West End Eurovision video idents are out!
(yes, I know I’m a few days off, it’s been a busy week heh)
Whilst I am very sad not to be in attendance this year, I look forward to seeing the full entries from the night up on YouTube shortly after, and once again, do really wish that the MAD Trust would consider a DVD of the night!
For anyone uninitiated, West End Eurovision is an after-hours theatre event that occurs once a year, where performers group together in their various West End shows and produce and perform a Eurovision classic in their own unique way.
Each entry is introduced with a comedic video ident, as appears below
DON’T FORGET TO VOTE FOR YOUR FAVE, EVEN IF YOU’RE NOT GOING ON THE NIGHT.
ALL MONEY GOES TO THE MAD TRUST – A VERY WORTHY CAUSE! ^_^
(loving a bit of Essex, ha!)
(cheeky ‘The Ring’ reference FTW!)
(loving this one, especially as it has George Stiles in it, and the Door dude from The Shaftesbury, ha!)
(possibly the one with the best production values on it)
(dislike the show, majorly HATE the ident!)
(always love the Billy ones, and this year’s is once again my favourite!! IRON LADY MAN! Alreet?)
(good ol’ The 39 Steps! I’m still Pom-Pom-ing from last year’s entry )
(sorry Mamma Mia! – a bit dull and not in the spirit of the rest of them!)
(made me grin, good on ya Shrek The Musical!)
(second favourite – love it!)
